With over two decades of experience as a human performance consultant, Dr. Filice’s career spans elite sporting landscapes from Los Angeles, USA to Brescia, Italy and Toronto, Canada. His diagnostic precision and innovative soft-tissue rehabilitation systems have made him a trusted asset across the world’s most competitive stages, including the NHL, MLB, MLS, NBA, UFC, ATP, WTA, and AVP. Notably, as the former Director of Sports Science for Tennis Canada, he played a pivotal role in the organization’s historic ascent and its Grand Slam Championship.

Daniel Rinaldi
Daniel has a deep curiosity for uncovering the complexities of human movement across various applications from rehabilitation to high performance.
During his undergraduate studies in Kinesiology at the University of Toronto, where he graduated with high honours, Daniel balanced both academic and athletic commitments. He served as a student athletic therapist for the university’s men’s volleyball program and as a lab demonstrator for the Anatomy department while also competing as a varsity rugby athlete.
Translating theory into practice, Daniel went on to excel as a strength and conditioning coach, nationally ranking among the top 10% of coaches during his tenure at GoodLife Fitness. He further advanced his expertise by completing a Master of Science in Kinesiology and Health Sciences at the University of Waterloo, specializing in the biomechanics of human movement.

Nicholas Yu

Nick is a registered physiotherapist, certified strength and conditioning specialist (CSCS), and an EXOS performance specialist. His passion for sport and helping people led him to obtain his Masters of Physiotherapy at the University of Sydney in Australia.
During his time down under, he was the physiotherapist for the Sydney Blue Sox of the Australian Baseball League, a Major League Baseball (MLB) winter league, along with Baseball Australia and Baseball South WA. He has also provided coverage for various sports and events including the IIHF Women’s World Championship, Toronto Blue Jays Canadian Futures Showcase, and Canada Summer Games.

Clement Golliet
Clément Golliet is a Strength and Conditioning Coach with over a decade of experience developing athletes from youth to the professional level. He specializes in long-term athletic development, performance enhancement, injury prevention, and return-to-performance, using an evidence-based approach grounded in kinesiology, biomechanics, and exercise physiology.
Throughout his career, Clément has worked extensively with Tennis Canada, serving for several years as a National Strength and Conditioning Coach and supporting the Canadian National Team. He has prepared numerous ATP and WTA professionals, a Grand Slam Champion, Top 10 players, elite junior athletes, and more than 50 athletes who have gone on to compete in collegiate programs. He was also a member of the performance staff that helped Team Canada capture the Billie Jean King Cup.
Although tennis has been the primary focus of his career, Clément has also worked with athletes from basketball, golf, soccer, baseball, and other sports, applying the same performance principles across a wide range of athletic demands.
His coaching philosophy is simple: Make the athlete before the player. By building efficient movement, strength, power, speed, resilience, and long-term physical development, he helps athletes maximize performance while reducing injury risk.
Clément holds a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM) and a Master of Science in Performance Coaching (First Class Honours) from SETANTA College. He is a Registered Kinesiologist (Ontario), a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), and a Registered Strength and Conditioning Coach (RSCC) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA). Daniel holds a Master of Science in Strength and Conditioning from Middlesex University and an Honours Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology and Health Promotion from Sheridan College. He is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), bringing a strong academic and practical foundation to the implementation of elite performance training.
Since joining The Performance Lab, Daniel has become a key member of the strength and conditioning team, executing the Lab’s evidence-based training methodology across athletes of all levels. Working within the Lab’s integrated performance model, he translates athlete assessments, sport science data, and performance objectives into highly individualized training programs that maximize performance while supporting long-term athletic development.
Daniel’s experience spans professional, collegiate, Olympic, and national-level athletes across hockey, baseball, basketball, tennis, volleyball, softball, field hockey, and ultimate frisbee. This diverse background has strengthened his ability to apply The Performance Lab’s targeted approach across a wide range of sports, ensuring every athlete receives programming that reflects the specific physiological and performance demands of their sport.
While he works with athletes across multiple disciplines, Daniel has developed extensive experience supporting hockey players at every stage of development, including athletes competing in the NHL, AHL, OHL, NCAA, GOJHL, and GTHL.
